Mohamed Zaki
Technical & Recreational Diving Instructor
I am a technical and recreational diving instructor based between Dahab, Egypt, and Gent, Belgium.
From an early age, I developed a passion for water sports as an international swimmer and swimming coach. For over a decade, I have been teaching both technical and recreational diving. I hold professional certifications from three major diving organizations, including:
- PADI: Recreational MSDT, covering all recreational levels up to Divemaster, with 8 specialties.
- PADI Technical: 40, 45, and 50-meter limits.
- SDI: Scuba Diving Instructor, with the same specialties.
- TDI: Technical Diving Instructor and Technical DPV Diving Instructor.
Courses I teach under TDI include:
- Foundation skills courses and workshops
- Advanced Nitrox
- Decompression Procedures
- Extended Range
- Trimix
- Advanced Trimix
I guide technical dives to depths of 100 meters and beyond, and I am GUE-trained up to Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR1) limits.
I also guide the following technical dive levels:
- 40, 45, 50, and 55 meters
- Normoxic Trimix (60 meters)
- Hypoxic Trimix (75 meters and 100 meters)
The most important rule for me is "safety first." We master the shallows before venturing into the deep.
Ultimately, eternity begins and ends with the ocean tides, and nothing is more rewarding than being a scuba diver and connecting with the ocean.
